Experience
Education
University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire | 2007 - 2011 |
I enrolled in the Computer Science department and received a degree in Computer Engineering. I took plenty of math, technology, and science classes. I worked with the Eclipse editor, and coded in Java, C++, Perl, BASH, and Verilog, among others. |
|
Kansai Gaidai University | 2009 |
I participated in my University's student exchange program, and spent a semester living in Japan. There I took Japanese language and cultural courses, and did plenty of travelling. |
|
Memorial High School | 2003 - 2007 |
I completed school with a high GPA and over 40 college credits from AP and college-level technology courses. |
Work History
Superion Technology | 2015 - Now |
Here I work as an Engineer and have the chance to work on a variety of projects. I design software for embedded systems, do design-verification work for clients, and help develop our XLR8 line of Arduino boards. I work in System-Verilog, C++, Python, etc. |
|
Intel Corporation | 2013 - 2015 |
After the closure of my office of Open-Silicon, I pursued the opportunity to work at Intel. Here I was a design-verification engineer, where I worked to validate the design of computer chips. I worked in System-Verilog, and made use of both the UVM and OVM standards. I worked on networking chips, primarily dealing with sending data packets on various interfaces. |
|
Open-Silicon, Inc. | 2012 - 2013 |
I began as an intern at Open-Silicon after graduating from University, and after three months was hired as a salaried employee. At Open-Silicon I worked primarily as a design-verification engineer, though I also aided in some system administration work. I worked on projects for companies such as Micron and Intel, on memory and networking chips. I implemented an internet packet generator, which created the various layers of an ethernet packet, including IPv4, IPv6, TCP, and UDP standards. I worked in System-Verilog, OVM, UVM, Perl, and BASH. |
|
Cray Inc. | 2010 |
I worked as a summer intern for Cray as an engineering technician. I assembled and tested supercomputer systems before shipping them out to customers. My work consisted mainly of running software tests, testing electrical components, and swapping out defective parts. |
|
First Net Impressions | 2007 - 2010 |
I started with First Net Impressions in my senior year of High School, when I mainly performed network administration tasks such as setting up routing equipment and running cable. Later I began working on developing web pages and system administration, and worked in CSS, PHP, JavaScript, JSON, BASH, and many other languages and methodologies. |
